Helping the RSV vaccine rollout
Recognising that fridge monitoring processes were taking up valuable time for the clinical team, the practice manager at Bushloe Surgery in Wigston, Leicestershire made the decision to research how fridge temperatures could be monitored accurately 24/7, using an automated system.
As a result, RemoteM was installed at the practice earlier this year, and has proved popular with the staff, eliminating the need for time consuming manual readings and ongoing issues with dataloggers.
In addition, RemoteM’s alerting system kicked in on a Friday evening when the premises were closed and unmanned, showing an out of temperature alert for a fridge filled with RSV vaccines. Timely intervention to move the stock to another fridge saved money and meant the vaccine rollout could continue as planned.
